My experience on the spiritual mission was truly transformative. From the moment I embarked on this journey, I could feel a sense of serenity and connection with Mount Shasta.

Roxy was knowledgeable and also deeply passionate about the spiritual significance of each place we visited. She provided insights and stories that added a profound layer of understanding to the sites we explored.

Visiting sacred Mount Shasta. and participating in various rituals was a unique and enlightening experience. It allowed me to connect with my inner self and gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual aspects we were immersing ourselves in.

“Shasta , specifically Mt. Shasta… are your spirt guides telling you to visit it. Is it showing up on your social media feed. Ya stumbled upon Shasta on stickers, travel magazines, and each time you see it, something pokes your soul…. That was me. And if it’s you too atm, make your way ASAP! 

I visited on my own once, another with friends for fun, but it just didn’t “all click”until I came with other people that were like minded / soul aligned which Roxy( Paul?) helped bring together on a retreat , she/they do many , saw their/ her website & I went with my soul & chose the one I resonated with the most even though it was more far out on my calendar than I thought it should have been ( logically) but soul knows best, and it did in the end. Eventually that Retreat was happening, and I can say I left a different person after.  I can go on and tell you about my experience, but it’s different for everyone as I spoke with other souls on my retreat. We all  at the end of the retreat came and left with what we were each looking for so it seemed. This was an experience that was calling me to join for many reasons. I knew instantly, with no expectations that it was going to be everything that I thought it would be and more, and it was. 

For me, this retreat was to further my reawakening to my true self in its entirety, to unlock the doors and to activate all that was ready to come forth. Every moment previous to this one led me here, it was the next step. 

This was also a time for community and to connect with like minded people and to reconnect with soul family. 

Lauren and Roxy were great hosts and facilitators, very gifted and I’m grateful they listened to their calling and put this magical experience together.

Every part of The Mystic was well thought out, creating a space to engage with the cosmic energies and magic of Mount Shasta (literally with the view from the balcony and figuratively).

Roxy and Karen made delicious vegan meals for our stay, Roxy graced us with her cosmic sound bath and Karen gifted us with a rebirthing ceremony in the labyrinth in the backyard.

A joke that we had at Roxy’s Costa Rica retreat was that this retreat would ruin all other subsequent retreats for us, because nothing would ever be able to top it. The confluence of the people, location, and space that Roxy and the other co-facilitators held for us was like lightning in a bottle, where everyone there and everything that happened all aligned. Roxy welcomed each and every one of us with open arms, and has continued to be so supportive and encouraging since. She continues to keep her arms open. Roxy is a true multi-hyphenate, and shared so many of her gifts and talents with us throughout the week. Whether through the events and activities that were scheduled, or through the compassion she extended during impromptu chats and hearts to hearts. The friends I had made there will be lifelong friends, and the support and love has extended beyond the retreat as well. I can’t wait to do another retreat with Roxy again soon.’
